Meow House Cat rescue in Raleigh, NC

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing cats and kittens from urgent situations at animal control facilities. We provide them with food, love, and medical care until they find permanent, loving homes. Our mission is driven by a passion for cats and a commitment to saving lives, as well as educating the public about the importance of spaying and neutering pets to address pet overpopulation.

Adoption process

The adoption fee is $100, and an adoption application must be completed, with references being verified. Our contract stipulates that the adopter agrees not to declaw the cat, that the cat will be kept indoors only, and that if the adopter is unable to keep the cat for any reason, it must be returned to us.

Service area: We serve Wake, Harnett, and Johnston Counties, as well as occasionally other areas. The majority of our adoptions take place in the North Carolina towns of Cary, Apex, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, Raleigh, Sanford, and Smithfield.
