Cat Adoption Team in Sherwood, OR

Cat Adoption Team is a cat rescue based in Sherwood, Oregon, in Washington County, roughly 10 miles northeast of Portland, where it operates as the largest nonprofit, adoption-guarantee cat shelter in the Pacific Northwest. It provides adoption, foster care, and veterinary services exclusively for homeless cats and kittens, with foster volunteers caring for more than 1,000 cats and kittens each year. Adoption counselors work with prospective adopters to help match them with a cat suited to their family, and the organization also runs a spay/neuter clinic and rehoming assistance program. Ten other animal shelters or rescues also serve Washington County, where Cat Adoption Team has long been a dedicated resource for cats specifically.
