Charlie Little Dog House in Vancouver, WA
Simone Wunscher is a lifelong animal lover and activist. From 1995 to 2010, she operated a pet supply store in Southern California that exclusively featured rescue animals for adoption. She was among the pioneers in adopting the practice of rescuing animals from high-kill shelters and successfully placed over 16,000 animals in loving homes during that period. After relocating to Washington in 2016, she observed a lower availability of adoptable animals compared to her previous experience in Los Angeles. Motivated by the need for rescue efforts, she has reopened her home to rescue and foster dogs in search of their forever homes. Simone is the Owner and Operator of Rescue Champion.

Adoption process
The adoption process includes an interview, a home inspection, and a meet-and-greet with the dog. Once these steps are completed, an adoption contract will be signed. If the dog needs to be returned, a refund will be issued within five days.
