About this shelter

Animal Rescue Farm of Mercer in Pennington, NJ

We advocate for pediatric spay/neuter as a crucial strategy to address pet overpopulation. We believe that relying solely on adoption will not resolve the issue; a strong emphasis on spay/neuter is essential for effective solutions. Our organization rescues dogs and puppies from Puerto Rico, where shelters face a staggering 91% kill rate. Our rescue partners ensure that the mother dogs of our puppies are spayed, or we take in both the mother and her puppies for adoption. We particularly focus on Satos, as they are known for their excellent temperaments, and our adoptive families cherish them for a lifetime.
