About this shelter

EASEL Animal Rescue League, Shelter, & Pet Adoption in Ewing Township, NJ

EASEL Animal Rescue League, Shelter, & Pet Adoption is a rescue organization based in Ewing Township, New Jersey, about 5 miles southeast of Trenton. As a 501(c)3 non-profit animal welfare organization, EASEL's mission is to reduce the number of unwanted dogs and cats killed in Mercer County, with a key goal of building a larger no-kill adoption center. The organization saves hundreds of homeless dogs and cats each year across central New Jersey through programs including Cat and Dog Adoption, Volunteer, Foster, Humane Education, and Trap-Neuter-Return, and every adopted pet is spayed or neutered, microchipped, and given a physical exam and behavior assessment. The shelter is open Tuesday and Thursday from 12:00–3:00 PM and 5:00–7:00 PM, Friday from 12:00–5:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 AM–4:00 PM.
