Adoption Process

The adoption process begins with the completion of an adoption application. We will then screen the applicant and the application, as well as check references. Next, potential adopters will meet with dogs available for adoption and select a dog they wish to adopt. We will conduct a home visit with the chosen dog prior to finalizing the adoption. If approved, the adoption contract will be completed. The adoption fee of $937.50 covers a fully trained rescue dog, lifelong training lessons, discounted boarding, and all veterinary care, including spaying or neutering and microchipping. We require that the dog is either safely contained or supervised at all times; outside-only dogs are not permitted. It is essential that the dog is a good match for the family or individual, considering their lifestyle and living situation. Additionally, the dog must receive exercise tailored to its individual needs. In the event that an owner can no longer care for the dog, we will take back any dog from our program.

We have been operating a dog boarding and training facility for 15 years. My late husband, who was a veterinarian, and I shared a lifelong goal of establishing a full-service facility. We envisioned a one-stop shop where people could find a great companion and receive exceptional care for their pets throughout their lives. Although my husband passed away four years ago, I launched our official rescue program one year ago. While we had been rescuing dogs for 15 years, we previously funded the efforts ourselves. By establishing the rescue as a non-profit corporation, we are now able to seek support to save more dogs. This initiative is part of our enduring dream to connect loving owners with wonderful dogs in need of homes.
