Adoption Process

Before meeting any pets, an adoption application must be completed. Adoption fees are required, and all pets will be fully vaccinated and spayed or neutered prior to placement. The new home must have a fenced yard or appropriate exercise arrangements, such as access to a dog park, multiple long walks, playtime, or daycare. Pets must be kept on heartworm prevention, and any other pets in the home should also be spayed or neutered. If adopters are unable to keep the pet, it must be returned.

My husband and I specialize in rescuing and rehoming hairless dog breeds, including Chinese Cresteds, Xoloitzcuintli, and American Hairless Terriers, as well as their mixes. After volunteering with two national organizations, we chose to reduce the number of dogs we foster and to have greater control over their future homes, focusing on local placements. We are passionate about these breeds and have been actively involved in their rescue for six years, along with more than 20 years of experience in animal rescue overall.
