The Hooff House Rescue and Sanctuary in Jacksonville, FL

Our organization provides a permanent home for residents who cannot be adopted due to being feral, blind, deaf, or having other health or behavioral issues. These animals will live on our property for their entire lives. In addition, we have cats available for adoption. If these cats do not find a home within a few months, they are transferred to another rescue organization in Maryland. We also maintain a network of foster homes to support our efforts.

Adoption process

To begin the adoption process, please complete the adoption form available on our website. After your application is filled out and approved, you will have the opportunity to meet the pet or pets you are interested in, ensuring they are a suitable match for you. The home visit and meet-and-greet can occur simultaneously. The purpose of the home visit is to assess the living environment for the cat or cats. Video chat options are available if necessary. If you are located out of state, I will coordinate transportation after the video chat. Once the home visit is completed, and the contract is signed along with the adoption fee paid, the pet will either stay with you or transportation will be arranged to deliver the pet to your location.
