Adoption Process

The adoption process includes completing an application, conducting a house visit, participating in a phone interview, signing an adoption contract, and making a donation of the adopter's choice to finalize the adoption of the cat.

We offer both permanent and temporary homes for cats. Our goal is to rehabilitate and train these cats so they can be placed in loving, permanent homes. We recognize the importance of collaborating with local shelters and other animal rescue organizations to effectively address the challenges faced by homeless, stray, and feral cats. In addition to providing homes for feral cats, we strive to rehabilitate cats and help them find loving families. Those that cannot be rehabilitated will have a permanent residence at DART, although space is limited. We prioritize cats that are in immediate danger in the field, as well as those on shelter euthanasia lists due to behavioral issues or special needs.
