Boxer Rescue Angels of Florida in Bradenton, FL

Our program houses dogs in private homes within our service areas. We operate entirely through volunteers and do not have any paid positions. Boxer Rescue Angel's mission is to rescue and rehabilitate displaced and abandoned Boxer dogs. We provide veterinary care, including spay and neuter services, shelter in foster homes, and facilitate their adoption to carefully screened permanent homes. Additionally, we assist owners who need to re-home their dogs and work to educate the public about the importance of spaying and neutering, heartworm prevention, and responsible pet ownership.

Adoption process

To initiate the adoption process, potential adopters must complete an online application. This process includes a veterinary check, landlord approval if applicable, a phone interview, and a home visit. The following requirements must be met: all pets in the household must be spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and on heartworm prevention. Adoption fees vary based on the age of the dog: - Puppies aged 8 weeks to 12 months: $350 - Dogs aged 13 months to 3 years: $300 - Dogs aged 4 years to 6 years: $250 - Dogs aged 7 years and older: $175 - Boxer mixes of any age: $150 An adoption contract is also required.
