Adoption process
To begin the adoption process, an application must be completed. We will conduct checks on personal and veterinary references, and a home visit will be performed before granting approval to adopt. Adoption donations range from $250 to $750. These donations help cover the veterinary care provided to the dog prior to adoption, which may include vaccinations, heartworm testing and prevention medication, flea prevention, fecal testing and deworming if necessary, as well as spay or neuter surgical procedures. An adoption contract must be signed before the dog is transferred to the new owner.
