About this shelter

Shabby Cat in Naples, FL

Shabby Cat is a cat rescue based in Naples, Florida, located in Collier County, where it shares the local landscape with 6 other animal shelters and rescues, and sits roughly 100 miles east of Fort Lauderdale. Operating as Brigid's Crossing Resale Shop & Adoption Center, it is owned and run by the Brigid's Crossing Foundation, with all proceeds from its upscale resale store—featuring designer clothing, shoes, jewelry, furniture, and art—supporting the rescue's efforts. It works in tandem with Brigid's Crossing Holistic Cat Sanctuary, a no-cage, no-kill, nature-oriented center devoted to the rescue, adoption, and lifetime or hospice care of homeless, sick, and abandoned cats. Adoptable cats are available for visitors every day the shop is open, giving the community a chance to meet future companions while browsing the store.
