Purrfect Pals / Arlington Animal Shelter is a non-profit, no-kill cat sanctuary and adoption center located in Arlington, Washington, in Snohomish County, about 10 miles south of Everett. Founded in 1988, it serves the greater Puget Sound region and focuses on taking in cats and kittens other shelters may lack the resources to help, including senior ("vintage") cats, cats with chronic illnesses such as FIV and feline leukemia, and those with medical or behavioral challenges. Its on-site sanctuary is currently home to more than 140 special-needs cats, and the organization runs adoption, foster care, prison foster, and community pet food bank programs to place homeless cats in loving homes.
