All American Ponies, Inc. is an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit animal shelter based in Parker, Pennsylvania, in Butler County, roughly 50 miles south of Pittsburgh, PA. Three other animal shelters or rescues also serve Butler County. The organization is dedicated to protecting animals from abuse and neglect, investigating animal cruelty complaints, and providing ongoing care and rehabilitation to animals it rescues or seizes, including horses and Great Danes. Its Humane Officer is a state-trained, court-appointed, badged officer with full powers to investigate and make arrests in Armstrong, Clarion, and Mercer Counties, and the group receives no state or federal funding, relying instead on fundraising and donations to support its rescue, education, and cruelty-prosecution work.
