About this shelter

Northern Exposure Siberian Husky Rescue in Brick, NJ

Northern Exposure Siberian Husky Rescue is a rescue organization based in Brick, New Jersey, located in Ocean County, roughly 35 miles west of Trenton and alongside 13 other animal shelters and rescues in the county. The rescue focuses exclusively on Siberian Huskies, finding permanent, carefully screened homes for dogs who have become homeless, while promoting their health and well being and educating the public about the breed. Every rescue dog first goes through a foster home in Southern NY, NJ, PA, DE, or MD, where volunteers assess personality, behavior, and characteristics before matching the dog with an adoptive family. The organization relies on a network of foster families who provide love and secure homes, while the rescue itself supplies food, medicine, and ongoing support.
