Rolling Dog Ranch Animal Sanctuary in Ovando, MT
Rolling Dog Ranch Animal Sanctuary is a dog rescue located in Ovando, Montana, in Powell County, about 50 miles west of Missoula. One other animal shelter or rescue is also based in Powell County. The sanctuary takes in dogs with disabilities and special needs—blind, senior, or otherwise considered unadoptable—rescuing them from shelters across the country and giving them a permanent home and a second chance at life. Dogs are cared for as part of a close-knit pack on the farm, and prospective adopters are asked to have a fenced yard and to travel to meet the animals in person before an adoption is finalized.
