Boone Area Humane Society in Boone, IA
The Boone Area Humane Society was established in 1977 with the belief that, since humans have domesticated animals, we bear a responsibility for their well-being. To promote humane treatment, we address cases of animal neglect and abuse, offer animal control services, manage a shelter for lost, found, and unwanted pets, and provide education on humane practices.
