Paws and Purrs Humane Society in Montgomery, IL
Paws and Purrs Humane Society is a no-kill, not-for-profit organization based in Montgomery, Illinois, located in Kendall County, about 2 miles northeast of Aurora, IL, with 1 other animal shelter or rescue also serving Kendall County. The organization is an all-volunteer, foster home-based group dedicated to finding loving, permanent homes for homeless cats and kittens, from days-old kittens and strays to surrendered animals of all ages, with some cats also housed at a Petco in Oswego for adoption days. All animals are spayed/neutered when age permits, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested for FIV and FeLV, and adopters must agree not to declaw their cats and to keep them exclusively indoors. Paws and Purrs also offers an ongoing after-care program to support adopters and ensure animals thrive in their new homes.
