Adoption fees are structured as follows: Kittens under one year of age are $75.00, adults aged one to six years are $65.00, and seniors aged seven years and older are $25.00. Please note that there are no discounts available. An adoption contract is required, and families are strongly encouraged to keep their cats indoors, ensure they are up to date on vaccinations, and avoid declawing.

Simply Cats Adoption Center in Boise, ID

Simply Cats is dedicated to the care, protection, and placement of cats in loving homes. Our mission includes reducing cat overpopulation through spaying and neutering, as well as offering educational outreach programs that promote the humane treatment of all animals. We adhere to the following principles: No-Kill: We do not euthanize cats due to space constraints. Euthanasia will only be considered for cats suffering with no reasonable hope for recovery, and such decisions will be made by our shelter management team. Shelter: We provide a safe and comfortable environment where cats can reside until they are adopted or until the end of their natural lives. Cagelessness: Once a cat is deemed ready for adoption by our veterinarian, it will be housed in a communal space with other cats. Cats will only be placed in cages during their intake isolation period, if they are ill or injured, or for the safety of other cats. Care: We focus on the individual needs of each cat rather than statistics. Each cat will receive a high quality of life, which includes: - Comprehensive medical care - Fresh food and water - Clean and sanitary housing - An adequate number of litter boxes - Sufficient space for living, playing, and sleeping - Access to private areas - Fresh air and sunlight - Engaging activities and toys for mental and physical stimulation - Daily human interaction - Treatment with dignity and respect Spay or Neuter: We ensure that every cat is spayed or neutered before being placed in a new home, unless otherwise advised by our veterinarian. Respect: We treat all visitors to the Simply Cats Adoption Center with respect, regardless of their purpose for visiting.
