About this shelter

Idaho Humane Society Adoption Center in Boise, ID

The Idaho Humane Society Adoption Center is located in Boise, Idaho, about 5 miles east of the city, and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. As a humane society, its mission is to advocate for the welfare and responsible care of animals, protect them from neglect and cruelty, and promote humane education, awareness, and compassion. The organization is a no-kill shelter that helps dogs, cats, and small animals find forever homes, while also offering veterinary services, lost-and-found assistance, foster care, and low-cost spay and neuter programs. It relies on community support through donations, sponsorships, and volunteers to carry out its lifesaving work.
