About this shelter

Feathered Sanctuary in Bird in Hand, PA

Feathered Sanctuary is an animal shelter located in Bird in Hand, Pennsylvania, about 25 miles northeast of Reading, PA. It operates as a nonprofit exotic bird rescue, taking in and rehabilitating parrots that have been surrendered before placing them in new forever homes. Services include bird rescue, adoption, and boarding for previously adopted birds when space allows, and adoptions are matched based on the bird choosing its family. The organization operates by appointment only at its location on Beechdale Road and relies on donations to fund veterinary care and food for the birds in its care.
