Al-Van Humane Society Adoption & Community Education Center is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue located in South Haven, Michigan, about 50 miles south of South Bend, IN. Its mission is to compassionately serve the companion animals in the community by providing the best shelter, adoptive homes, education, and resources available, with the belief that every pet deserves love, care, and above all, a home. The shelter operates a resale shop, Rescued Treasures, with all proceeds going directly toward the care of shelter animals, and it is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
