Al-Van Humane Society Intake Center is a non-profit, no-kill shelter located in South Haven, Michigan, about 50 miles south of South Bend, IN. Its mission is to compassionately serve companion animals in the community by providing the best shelter, adoptive homes, education, and resources available, working with both dogs and cats up for adoption. The organization is a 501(c)3 non-profit and also runs Rescued Treasures, a resale shop whose proceeds go directly toward the care of shelter animals. The intake center is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
