Morgan’s Mutts Rescue in Jetersville, VA
Morgan's Mutts Rescue is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dog rescue located in Jetersville, Virginia, about 40 miles east of Richmond. It is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The rescue runs entirely on volunteers and works with local county animal control partners to save dogs, with all adoptable dogs vetted, spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate shots and heartworm and Lyme testing. It relies on community support through donations, fostering, and volunteering to continue rescuing dogs and finding them forever homes.

Adoption process
Submit an adoption application, then the rescue contacts you to schedule a meet-and-greet appointment (applications for puppies are processed in the order received); if you decide to adopt, a $350 fee is due at that time, and Pit/Pit mix/Bully breeds are only adopted to homeowners.
