The shelter cares for cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies, with animals marked "stray" held for a state-mandated five-day period to give owners a chance to reclaim them before becoming available for adoption. The facility is open to the public Tuesday through Friday from 3:00–7:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM–12:00 PM.
