Borderland Humane Society in International Falls, MN

Borderland Humane Society serves International Falls and Koochiching County, Minnesota, located about 140 miles southeast of Duluth. Its mission is to provide safe shelter for companion animals in transition, promote responsible pet ownership, and improve the quality of life for animals and people. The shelter cares for cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies, with animals marked "stray" held for a state-mandated five-day period to give owners a chance to reclaim them before becoming available for adoption. The facility is open to the public Tuesday through Friday from 3:00–7:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM–12:00 PM.
