About this shelter

Emerald City Pet Rescue in Seattle, WA

Emerald City Pet Rescue is a rescue organization located in Seattle, Washington, about 3 miles north of the city, and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Founded by Vivian Goldbloom in 2013, it is a 501(c)(3) organization run by dedicated staff and volunteers who house, train, rehabilitate, and care for rescue animals, including dogs, cats, critters, and equine. The rescue pulls animals from high-volume shelters nationwide, providing top-tier medical care and rehabilitation for hard-to-adopt pets to boost their chances of finding loving homes, guided by the belief that "Love Can Save Lives." Visits are by appointment only, and the organization also runs Ghost Owl Farm and offers foster and volunteer programs for those wanting to get involved.
