Operating as a no-kill shelter for over 40 years, its purpose is to promote adoption and provide a safe, healthy, and compassionate environment for the cats and dogs of Dallas County for as long as needed. The shelter relies on donors, volunteers, and fosters to sustain its lifesaving work and also offers community resources such as lost-and-found assistance and animal surrender services. It is open daily from noon to 5:00 PM, Monday through Sunday.
