Adoption Process
The adoption process includes the following steps: First, you will need to complete a pre-adoption application. Next, we will conduct a landlord verification to ensure that pets are allowed in your residence. A veterinarian check will also be performed to verify the care of any current pets. Additionally, a home visit will be conducted to assess the living environment for the potential pet. There is an adoption fee of $150, and upon approval, you will be required to sign an adoption contract.

Paws In The City in Dallas, TX
We are a volunteer organization dedicated to providing foster homes for dogs from the City of Dallas Animal Shelter. The dogs we care for are those that are at risk of being euthanized. We organize adoption events at least twice a month at a local storefront, and we also conduct fundraising activities to cover our medical expenses. When funding allows, we contribute to local spay and neuter initiatives.
