Adoption Process

The adoption process begins with the completion of an application, which helps us match the right cat to the appropriate home. Once a match is made, an adoption contract must be signed. There is a fee of $100, which covers the cost of spaying or neutering, vaccinations, rabies vaccination if the cat is of age, deworming, flea treatment, microchipping, and testing for FELV/FIV.

Dallas Cat Rescue, operating as Cat Matchers, is a non-profit organization recognized under 501(c)(3) status, composed entirely of volunteers. Our mission is to reduce the population of homeless animals. We achieve this through programs focused on rescuing animals, providing spay/neuter services, and facilitating adoptions. Additionally, we support spay/neuter initiatives aimed at decreasing the number of animals that are euthanized or left without homes each year. Our ultimate goal is to transform abandoned animals into lifelong companions.
