Wigglin Home Boxer Rescue is a non-profit organization comprised entirely of volunteers who are dedicated to rescuing and rehoming Boxers in Washington, Oregon, and parts of Idaho. We recognize the significant need within our community to assist Boxers in distress, including those who are neglected, homeless, surrendered by their owners, or unable to be cared for due to illness or military service. Our organization relies on the generosity of donors who support our mission, as well as fundraising events to sustain our efforts. We are committed to managing the Boxer population by ensuring that all rescued Boxers are spayed or neutered. Furthermore, we provide education on Boxer care, their personalities, the issue of overpopulation in shelters, and the risks associated with backyard breeding. We carefully screen potential adopters to ensure that each Boxer is placed in a suitable forever home, fulfilling our mission and completing the rescue process.

Adoption process

Potential adopters are required to complete an adoption application. We then match them with a suitable dog and conduct reference checks, which include contacting their veterinarian and landlord if necessary. A home inspection and a meet-and-greet are arranged to assess the interaction between the adopter and the dog. If everything aligns well and the references are verified, the adoption can proceed. Adoption fees range from $100 to $500, depending on the dog's age and health.
