Adoption Process

To begin the adoption process, applicants must first complete an adoption application. We will conduct checks on veterinary and personal references. A home visit and phone interview will be arranged prior to scheduling a meet and greet with the dog. Once your application is approved, an appointment will be made for the meeting, which should include all members of your household, including any other pets. If the meeting goes well, an adoption contract will be finalized. At the time of adoption, fees will be collected to cover expenses related to spaying or neutering, vaccinations, and other medical treatments. The fee structure is as follows: for puppies up to one year old, the fee ranges from $300 to $500; for dogs between two and six years old, the fee ranges from $200 to $300; and for dogs over six years old, there is no fee, although donations are appreciated.

Northwest Boxer Rescue in Mcminnville, WA

Northwest Boxer Rescue (NWBR) is dedicated to ensuring that every Boxer has the opportunity to live a happy life in a loving home. We provide shelter, medical care, and the chance for a new home to abandoned or homeless Boxers. Through the efforts of our dedicated volunteers and partnerships with local veterinarians, we rescue Boxers each year, offering them compassionate temporary foster care and helping them find suitable forever homes. In collaboration with city and county organizations, NWBR also focuses on educating the public to combat animal overpopulation and prevent unnecessary suffering. Our commitment to promoting the love of Boxers is unwavering. We do not discriminate based on health or age; all animals are assessed, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, and receive any necessary medical treatment prior to being placed in thoroughly screened homes. NWBR is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
