About this shelter
Yamhill County Gospel Rescue in McMinnville, OR
Yamhill County Gospel Rescue is a rescue organization located in McMinnville, Oregon, about 20 miles south of Salem, and operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Founded in 2004 as a nonprofit Christian organization, its mission is to provide food, shelter, and hope through the love of Jesus Christ to homeless families as well as single men and women. The facility offers a 30-day stay program along with an overnight emergency shelter, and it is run by a combination of paid staff and community volunteers who partner with local churches and organizations. The Mission has been expanding its capacity, including a men's facility completed in 2019 and planned renovations to better serve women and children with a larger commercial kitchen.
