Adoption Process

The adoption process begins with potential adopters meeting cats through a foster home visit, a visit to the adoption lounge, or by viewing them on social media. After selecting an animal, an application is submitted for review. The organization will then contact the potential adopter to discuss the specific animal and assess whether it is a suitable match. If the application is approved, the adopter is required to pay an adoption fee, which is $130 for adult cats and $80 for senior cats (those over 10 years old). The adopter will complete an adoption agreement, after which the cat will be delivered to their home. Once the paperwork is finalized, a medical summary of the cat will be sent to the adopter.

The Dancing Cat in San Jose, CA

We are a rescue organization dedicated to finding permanent homes for homeless cats. Our team rescues cats from local shelters and the community. For those requiring medical care or socialization, we place them in foster homes until they are healthy or ready for adoption. Additionally, we take healthy cats directly to our cat lounge, where they are available for adoption. Our mission is to ensure that no cat has to remain in a shelter or on the streets when we can assist them in finding a loving home.
