The Blount County Humane Society is a grassroots, citizen-based non-profit organization recognized as a 501(c)(3) animal protection organization. We are committed to preserving animal life rather than ending it. Our mission is to transform Blount County into a No Kill Community by establishing a safe shelter that adheres to the No Kill Philosophy, focusing on saving dogs and cats rather than resorting to euthanasia.
