Adoption Process

The adoption process begins with a conversation with the potential adopter. Following this, the adopter completes an application form. A home visit is then conducted, along with obtaining a veterinary reference and a personal reference. Once these steps are completed, a contract is signed. Adoption fees may vary, with lower costs for senior dogs, as I prioritize placing them with seniors on fixed incomes. The standard fee for adoption is $395. Additionally, senior adopters are required to have a backup caregiver in place.

My role involves connecting potential adopters with our rescue dogs, ensuring a positive experience for both parties. I take pride in maintaining open lines of communication with adopters and remain actively involved long after the adoption process, addressing any issues that may arise. Currently, I am committed to working in rescue full time. I find great fulfillment in saving dogs' lives and enhancing the lives of adopters through our rescue efforts.
