About this shelter

Friends of Felines, Inc. in Stamford, CT

Friends of Felines, Inc. is a cat rescue located about 1 mile northwest of Stamford, Connecticut, in Fairfield County, where 36 other animal shelters and rescues also operate. Recognized by the State of Connecticut as a 501(c)3 nonprofit, the organization is dedicated to caring for homeless and forgotten cats and kittens in the local community, providing veterinary care, foster homes, and adoption events, including regular partnerships with PetSmart in Stamford and Just Cats Veterinary Hospital. It prefers to place its cats close to home within lower Fairfield County, and its "Circle of Compassion" program provides extra medical support for cats needing more than routine care. Adopters can meet available cats through in-person events or an online application process for a chance to give these cats a second chance at a loving home.
