Adoption process

The adoption fee for dogs under one year old is $350, which includes spaying or neutering, microchipping, vaccinations, and a health certificate for out-of-state adoptions. For dogs over one year old, the fee is $375. The only difference is that these dogs are tested for heartworms, and if they test positive, we ensure they are treated before adoption. We offer video chats for potential adopters, and appointments can be made to meet the dogs in person. Our organization began operating in April 2020 and currently functions from our home, so we are not yet fully established. Interested adopters can complete an adoption application, and we typically review and respond within 24 hours. Once approved, adopters can decide whether to pick up their dog in person or arrange for transport. The transport cost varies based on the service chosen. We can recommend transport companies we have previously used or provide links to sources where transport needs are posted. The adoption fee must be paid before the transport service picks up the dog, or adopters may opt to pay a $50 deposit, with the remaining balance due upon arrival. The $50 deposit is deducted from the total adoption fee. We do not offer refunds unless the dog passes away before leaving our care. We prioritize the health and well-being of our dogs before they are adopted.
