I am a Certified Dog Trainer through the Animal Behavior College and a behaviorist with over two years of experience volunteering in a prison dog training program. In addition to my training work, I assist dogs in need by providing care and support. I ensure that all dogs leaving my facility are fully vetted, tested for heartworm, and spayed or neutered. I work closely with the dogs before they are adopted to ensure they will be suitable family pets. I carefully match each dog with the right household, prioritizing the well-being of both the dog and the family, and I do not allow potential adopters to choose a dog that may have behavioral issues. My journey into dog training began in Alabama, where I helped my local Humane Society evaluate dogs that had been in the adoption process for extended periods. This experience highlighted the need for training, which became my mission: to transform unadopted dogs into wonderful companions. I am motivated by my passion for animal welfare rather than financial gain, and I serve as an unpaid volunteer dog trainer in our local prison program.
