The Humane Society of Muhlenberg is located in Greenville, Kentucky, about 40 miles north of Owensboro, and is open Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The organization is dedicated to helping animals in Muhlenberg County live full and happy lives, caring for every animal that comes through its doors until it finds a forever home. Beyond adoptions, the shelter has partnered with the Henderson SNIP clinic to offer low-cost spay and neuter services for cats, feral or otherwise, provides microchipping for the public, and works with Maple Manor Health Care Center to host a bi-weekly pet therapy day.
