Adoption Process
Before you inquire about adopting a pet, please complete the adoption application. This step helps us streamline the process and allows us to dedicate more time to the animals in our care. Your application processor will be available to answer any questions you may have about the pet and the adoption process. We will review your application as soon as we receive it. A volunteer processor will reach out to you when they begin reviewing your application. During this time, you can ask questions about the pet you are interested in, including adoption fees, temperament, and transportation options if necessary. The processor will also contact your veterinarian and references, and they may request a virtual home visit as part of the approval process. After completing the review of your application, a volunteer from Final Victory Animal Rescue will contact you to schedule an in-person or virtual meet and greet. Please inform us if you would like other pets or family members to participate. This is an excellent opportunity to ask questions and get to know your potential new pet before making a decision. Once your application is fully approved and you have met your potential pet, you can inform your processor if you wish to proceed with the adoption. Local adopters have the option to "Foster to Adopt" before signing the contract to finalize the adoption. Adopters from out of town will sign and pay the adoption fees digitally and will coordinate with us regarding transport and pick-up.

Final Victory Animal Rescue in West Columbia, SC
Final Victory Animal Rescue is based in West Columbia, South Carolina. We welcome adoption applications from families both within South Carolina and from out-of-state. We provide transportation for adopters along the East Coast and to those in the Northeastern United States. Additionally, adoptive families in other states can arrange private transportation, or they may choose to enjoy a family road trip to our location. Our primary objective is to ensure the best possible match between the animal and the adopting family, taking into account the animal's background as well as the specific needs of your family. Every animal has unique traits, including personality, temperament, energy levels, and their comfort with children and other pets, as well as any medical requirements. We carefully consider all these aspects when making placements. Our commitment is to match the right animal with the right home, as we aim for each adoption to result in a permanent and loving environment for the pet.
