Adoption Process
Before adopting a cat, prospective adopters must participate in an interview with the executive director. Not all applicants are approved for adoption. Those who are approved will enter a three-week trial period during which they can return the cat and receive a refund. After this period, while we always welcome our cats back if the adoptive household can no longer care for them, the adoption fee will not be refunded. A formal adoption contract must be signed before the adoption is finalized. The adoption fee is $118, which includes tax.
