Feline Fanciers Cat Rescue in Huntsville, AL

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization run by volunteers, dedicated to raising healthy, well-adjusted, and socialized cats while helping them find their forever homes. Each animal in our care is hand-raised in a cage-free environment, fully vetted, and fostered in the homes of our committed volunteers. We promote the use of each volunteer's unique talents and skills to create a collaborative atmosphere that educates, motivates, and supports feline advocacy within our community.

Adopting from Feline Fanciers Cat Rescue

Adoption process

Potential adopting families begin by completing an application, which is followed by a screening process to help identify the best fit for their home. Next, they will participate in an interview with a member of our adoption team, along with the potential kitten, to ensure a suitable match, as we believe "the kitten picks the family." We also require a trial period to confirm that both the family and the feline are content with their long-term commitment to one another. As a small, local, non-profit rescue, we do not have the capacity to transport cats. Therefore, adopters must be able to travel to Madison, AL for an initial meeting with the feline they are interested in adopting.

Service area: We serve North Alabama, including the cities of Madison, Huntsville, Decatur, and Athens.
