Krewe de Rescue is a small, foster-based animal rescue organization that operates without a physical facility. We collaborate with other rescues and shelters in our community to save as many animals as possible. Additionally, we partner with rescues in other states to relocate animals from our area that are at risk of euthanasia in high-kill shelters.

Adopting from this shelter

Adoption process

To begin the adoption process, please complete an adoption application and contract, providing information about your veterinarian, current pets, and references. We will verify the references provided, and if necessary, a home visit will be scheduled. A meet and greet with the pet will also be arranged. Once all requirements are fulfilled, you will be able to pay the adoption fee of $125 and welcome your new pet into your home.
