Mobile SPCA is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit humane society located in Mobile, Alabama, in Mobile County, where 11 other animal shelters and rescues also operate. Its mission is to provide compassionate care, shelter, food, and medical attention to the animals in its charge while promoting adoptions, spay and neuter initiatives, responsible pet ownership, and community education. The shelter, based at the Pinebrook Shopping Center on Airport Boulevard and open seven days a week, cares for both cats and dogs, offers pets that are vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, and sends every adopted pet home with a free bag of Science Diet food. Mobile SPCA is also a proud recipient of funding from Maddie's Fund in support of efforts toward a no-kill nation.
