Tazewell Humane Society in Tremont, IL

We were established to support Tazewell County Animal Control, a high-kill shelter located in Tremont, Illinois. Our mission involves promoting the animals available for adoption and collaborating with local and Chicago-based rescue organizations to relocate these animals to no-kill shelters or rescue groups. We offer pro bono veterinary services at the shelter, including FeLV/FIV testing, heartworm testing, and vaccinations, to facilitate their transfer to other rescues. Additionally, we participate in local events to raise awareness about adoptable animals, local spay/neuter programs, and low-cost wellness clinics. We are also planning to organize low-cost rabies vaccination clinics in the near future.
