A Buddy For Life in New Castle, DE
A Buddy For Life is a 501(c)(3) foster-based animal rescue located in New Castle, Delaware, about 6 miles west of Newark, in New Castle County, where it is one of 12 animal shelters and rescues serving the area. The organization provides a second chance for dogs and cats, and occasionally other animals, that have been discarded, focusing on saving those that truly need help. It works with veterinary teams to take on medical and behavioral cases, giving difficult cases the same chance at adoption as easily adoptable animals, which means some pets remain in long-term foster care. A Buddy For Life relies on volunteers, community support, and generous donors to fund its rescue efforts and ongoing fundraisers.
