Humane Animal Partners is a no-kill humane society located at the Stanton/Christiana campus in Newark, Delaware, about 5 miles west of the city, formerly known as the Delaware SPCA and Delaware Humane Association. The shelter is open Tuesday 12:00–7:00 PM and Wednesday through Sunday 12:00–5:00 PM. It provides low-cost wellness services, vaccines, spay/neuter, and special surgery alongside its adoption programs for dogs and cats, and it helps care for more than 4,000 dogs and cats each year, funded largely through donor support. Beyond adoptions, Humane Animal Partners offers dog training, pet food pantry assistance, and pet retention support to help keep families and their pets together.
