Look What the Cat Brought In in Colorado Springs, CO
Look What the Cat Brought In is a cat rescue located about 3 miles south of Colorado Springs, Colorado, in El Paso County, where it shares the area with 22 other animal shelters and rescues. Operating under Feline Rescue Network, it was founded in 2008 as Colorado Springs' first shelter serving cats exclusively, and it operates as a limited-admission, adoption-guaranteed shelter. Its mission is to help cats, particularly those with special needs, find and stay in loving homes while empowering both the cats and their communities. Cats come from hoarding situations, the Humane Society of Pikes Peak Region, Fort Carson Animal Rescue, Second Chance Animal Rescue Foundation, and other regional rescues, and all are tested for FIV/FeLV, vaccinated, treated for parasites, and spayed or neutered before being housed in a mix of colony rooms, condos, and an outdoor catio.
