About this shelter

All Breed Rescue Training in Colorado Springs, CO

All Breed Rescue Training has been rescuing, rehabilitating, rehoming, and retraining dogs in Colorado Springs, Colorado since 1994. This El Paso County rescue organization, located about 4 miles south of Colorado Springs, works with local shelters to take in dogs at risk of euthanasia, focusing specifically on dogs considered unadoptable due to behavioral, medical, or training-related issues. Dogs are placed in foster homes and given training support before being matched with permanent, carefully vetted forever homes, and every adopted dog and its family receive lifelong support. The organization also runs a full training program—from puppy socialization to AKC Therapy Dog Certification—and reports a 98% adoption success rate, joining 22 other animal shelters and rescues serving El Paso County.
