Supporting Rescued Pets is a nonprofit, volunteer-run rescue organization based in Prescott, Arizona, in Yavapai County, roughly 70 miles south of Glendale, AZ. Founded and run by Rise and Steven Plimley, longtime Prescott-area accountants and rescue dog owners themselves, the organization doesn't operate its own physical shelter but instead works to raise public awareness of homeless dogs and cats in the region and to raise funds supporting the pets not yet adopted. Its website links to the many other shelters in the area working to place animals in loving homes, fitting alongside the 12 other animal shelters and rescues also based in Yavapai County. Its mission is simple: every homeless pet has a story, and the goal is to help give that story a happy ending.
